Find the right style for your home
Every style below is available in vinyl or fiberglass, in the colors and grille patterns that match your home.
Double-Hung
Two sashes slide up and down independently, and tilt in for easy cleaning from inside your home.
Casement
Hinged at the side and opened with a crank, casement windows seal tight and catch full ventilation.
Picture
A fixed pane with no moving parts, built for the widest, clearest view and the strongest energy performance.
Bay & Bow
Three or more windows angled outward to add floor space, natural light, and a striking exterior profile.
Sliding
One or both sashes glide side to side on a track, a simple, low-maintenance choice for wide openings.
Garden
A small projecting window with a shelf, perfect over a kitchen sink for herbs, plants, or extra light.
Vinyl or fiberglass: an honest comparison
Both are excellent, low-maintenance choices. Here is how they actually differ, without the sales pitch.
Vinyl
- Lower upfront cost for a comparable performance tier
- Multi-chambered frames insulate very well
- Wide range of exterior colors on our newer lines
- Frames can flex slightly more on very large openings
Fiberglass
- Stronger frame, holds larger panes of glass
- Expands and contracts less across temperature swings
- Paintable, and holds its finish longer than vinyl
- Higher upfront cost than a comparable vinyl window
Built for our climate, not just any climate
Three details do most of the work, and none of them are complicated.
Low-E Glass
A microscopically thin coating reflects heat back where you want it, indoors in winter, outdoors in summer, without dimming your view.
Argon Fill
The space between panes holds argon gas instead of plain air. It conducts heat far more slowly, so less warmth escapes on a cold, rainy February night.
U-Factor
U-factor measures how well a window keeps heat from moving through it: lower is better. We spec a low U-factor as standard, since it matters more here than in the Southwest.
“The picture window over our sink went in plumb the first time, and the kitchen stopped feeling like a walk-in refrigerator by November.”
